Why We Started LETS
LETS was born from a simple but profound belief: every girl, woman, and family deserves the tools to thrive in safety, dignity, and freedom. Too many lives are shaped by misinformation, silence, or shame when it comes to the body, fertility, and self-worth. We knew there had to be a better way—and that education was the root.
LETS Mission
To prevent pain and provide hope. To empower individuals to make informed decisions about their family planning, health and wellbeing and uplift communities in crisis through education and self-sustaining employment. This work will prevent unplanned pregnancies, increase quality of life and end human trafficking, child poverty and abuse.

LETS Evolution
In 2016, Kristin’s vision resulted in a comprehensive and duplicable pilot project, which centered on self-reliance rather than the short-term effects of handouts.
In addition to creating local jobs, generating resources for food, shelter and health care so that children and families could live self-reliant, dignified lives, it was, and continues to be a hands-on learning program teaching reproductive health, human development and basic health and wellbeing.
One important aspect to the success of the training is the Lunar Essential Tracker System (“LETS”) Bracelet, which helps girls and women of childbearing age conceptualize and track their most fertile days and share this journey with their partner. The bracelet materials are manufactured by hand, employing artisans in LETS manufacturing centers in communities in developing countries.
LETS has seen amazing results from the LETS Training Program. Thousands of LETS bracelets have been distributed with comprehensive family planning and health education, our instructor training program is expanding exponentially, reaching more women, couples and youth in need and people in communities in crisis have been sustainably employed. Most importantly, our students are communicating that they feel empowered to make informed choices when it comes to family planning, pregnancy and basic health – stopping child trafficking, poverty and abuse at its source. And, excitement is growing.
LETS is not content with this life changing program changing the lives of people in just one community or country. We want to change the world, community by community, life by life.
We’ve packaged the education program in our instructor and train-the-trainer courses so that more people can feel confident educating others. We have expanded the manufacturing model into other communities. Our bracelets are changing the lives of women, couples and youth all over the globe, from a girl in America to a woman in Haiti to a family in Uganda. Meet the Founder
Kristin is a mother, grandmother, health and transformational guide, and steward of this movement. After decades of working with individuals and communities around the world, she saw the urgent need for tools that were simple, sacred, and scalable. She created LETS to combine what is timeless with what is teachable—bringing truth back into homes, classrooms, and hearts.
Her approach bridges the spiritual and the practical, blending science, story, and sacred design to support sovereign living from the inside out.

Why does LETS educate men and boys as well as women and girls?
One of the key principles of the LETS Training Program is that it’s inclusive of men, women, teenagers, families and the whole community. This is 100% essential to the success of the training. If we educate women alone then the men don’t have the education nor do they feel the responsibility for family planning, reproductive health, fertility and health and often the physical and emotional care of their children. The younger people also need to be educated before they are entering or have entered puberty. They need to be prepared for the emotional and physical changes their bodies will be going through and understand the effects of their choices. They need to feel the support of their parents and community. All of our students are taught about respect for choices around intimacy and how to work together in family planning and nurture their bodies, minds, spirits and their environment.

What is the Empowerment Club?
The Empowerment Club is a community of passionate individuals that want to change the world. Our members understand that the most powerful way to do this is through small acts of service and compassion. When you join The Empowerment Club you’ll be asked to commit to purchasing or donating Lunar Essential Tracker System Bracelets on a monthly basis.Each month your commitment provides women, couples and youth in need access to bracelets and our essential training in reproductive health and basic health and wellbeing. It also provides our growers, artisans and educators reliable jobs.
